Republican Policy Chairman McCotter denies that Republicans are the party of NO
-publishes new booklet

The House Republican Policy Committee has published a booklet laying out what Republicans support and that they are NOT the party of No. The Democrats have been shamelessly trying to claim that while their healthcare bill is not perfect, the Republicans have had no plan of their own and they just keep saying "no" to the Democrats all the time but without any alternative.

Well that simply has not been true. There have been numerous proposals, amendments, entire bills proposed by the Republicans but it is in fact the Democrats who wouldn't even let it be read in committee let alone it get to the House floor.

So Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, one of my favorite members of Congress and a true intellectual, is Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee. They have published a booklet outlining exactly what they are FOR and that this is a great time for renewal. It lays it out pretty well.
